Who You Are
You are a dedicated and passionate Social Worker with at least five years of post-qualifying experience. You have a strong understanding of various social work theories and models, enabling you to implement imaginative and impactful interventions. You are committed to improving outcomes for children, young people, and their families and have experience managing varied caseloads and chairing multi-agency meetings. Your excellent verbal and written communication skills allow you to effectively engage with children, families, and professional agencies.
What the Job Involves
You will be part of the Family Help team, supporting children from assessment onwards to build meaningful, lasting relationships with families and create positive change. You will work towards ensuring that children receive timely support, focus on reducing the number of children entering local authority care, and contribute to Central Bedfordshire's aspiration of achieving an 'Outstanding' Ofsted rating. This role combines remote work with necessary visits to CBC offices in locations such as Priory House, Shefford, and Grove View, Dunstable.
