Independent Social Worker (Form F Assessor) (Grade 8)

Who You Are

We are seeking dynamic and dedicated social workers who are SCW registered and reside within 40 miles of Cardiff. You should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in fostering, including the completion of Form F assessments or Connected Person’s Assessments. Your role will involve face-to-face visits and in-depth assessments, preparing prospective foster or kinship carers for their journey. Experience with fostering procedures and presenting at panels is essential.

What the Job Involves

Your primary responsibility will be to conduct detailed and comprehensive assessments for prospective foster or kinship carers. This involves preparing and presenting these assessments at panel meetings, which occur on Wednesdays. You will work independently but with the support and supervision of your team, making face-to-face visits a critical component of your assessments.
