You are an experienced Senior Estate Surveyor with extensive knowledge of the property industry, particularly in estate and asset management. You have a professional qualification such as RICS and are capable of managing a team and external contractors. You demonstrate equity, ambition, kindness, and accountability in your approach to work.
What the Job Involves
This role involves providing strategic property advice focused on property and estates management, participating in the development of the Strategic Asset Management Framework (SAMF), and ensuring effective management of commercial lease events. You will manage Council property agents, ensure compliance and maintenance of Council assets, spot and secure revenue generation opportunities, and assist with major regeneration projects and strategic negotiations. Additionally, you will lead property reviews and manage staff, ensuring their development and training to deliver on Council objectives.
