What the Job Involves
In this role, you will manage enforcement cases effectively and efficiently, in line with the Council's Planning Enforcement Plan. Responsibilities include preparing high-quality reports and notices, conducting site visits to assess planning breaches, and collaborating with both internal and external partners. You will be responsible for maintaining up-to-date knowledge of planning legislation and ensuring that enforcement decisions can be defended in appeals and court. Delivering a high-quality service to customers is also a key focus of this role.
