What the Job Involves
The Business Support Officer is responsible for providing professional and proactive business support services to enable the organization to meet statutory and legal obligations. This involves mailbox management, finance processing, data management, meeting arrangements, and caseload management. The role requires maintaining and updating IT systems, working flexibly to support service users, managing workloads, and ensuring the professional delivery of business processes. Additionally, you will work with colleagues to identify improvements, use technology to enhance support services, and adhere to council policies and regulations.
