As a social worker, you are equipped to conduct thorough assessments, ensure appropriate implementation of care plans, and engage effectively in adult safeguarding inquiries.
What the Job Involves
This role entails managing a caseload of adults with care and support needs, conducting assessments in line with the Care Act 2014, and planning how these needs will be met. You will undertake financial assessments, inform individuals and their carers about potential service costs, and develop safeguarding plans when necessary. Additionally, you may support in complex cases, coordinate work across agencies, and contribute to service and policy development. Your duties include applying the Mental Capacity Act, attending court when required, and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
